As a four time past participant of the Truckee Meadows Community College Writers’ Conference, it was a pleasure to be a presenter in their 27th annual conference on April 8, 2017. I was delighted to speak at my Alma Mater, University of Vermont last fall to a great group of athletes, coaches and faculty (some from the 80s!) after I was invited back to campus after the article Family Heirloom was published in the Spring 2016 Vermont Quarterly.
